WEEE Recycling

Compugeek are proud to implement the WEEE Regulations and the Battery Directive to ensure that your old equipment and batteries are disposed of in a safe, correct manner reducing any harmful effects to the environment.

Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) is taken back free of charge on a like-for-like basis. Waste batteries including rechargeable batteries are taken back free of charge. You are not obliged to make any purchase when returning old batteries. Each local authority must also accept household WEEE and small batteries free of charge at its recycling facilities. All WEEE and waste batteries must be recycled and should not be placed in any of your household wheelie bins. Make sure you always recycle all your old electrical goods and batteries.

What products do you recycle?
We're happy to recycle any of your old Computer equipment, or any small electrical equipment similar to the products we sell. We will also accept any portable single-use or rechargeable batteries for recycling (we are not in a position to recycle automotive or industrial batteries).

How can I recycle my item(s)?
Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) must never be placed in any of your household wheelie bins. You can return your WEEE to our shop at Coffee House Lane, Market Cross Shopping Centre, Kilkenny. Waste equipment or batteries can be handed to any member of staff.
Many local authority civic amenity facilities also take back WEEE free of charge.

Will you take my old item(s) away when an order is being delivered?
Orders are normally delivered for us by an post or a courier so unfortunately we can’t.

If you have any other questions relating to our WEEE Recycling, don't hesitate to contact us on 056 7788489 or info@compugeek.ie.
